BIG K.R.I.T.

Sorry.. but give me a late pass if you already know what's up with big k.r.i.t. I just discovered this and thought it was really something good!

Bagatelle

I made a trip on saturday to my favorite record store on the planet (Bagatelle Records) Long Beach Ca. I first discovered Bagatelle when I was a punk-ass teen-ager in the late 90's. I would now say they are responsible for  about 60% of my vinyl collection, and my vinyl weighs a ton!

If you haven't been to this record heaven you need to soon. Any music head would appreciate what is going on here. I wish there were more places like Bagatelle around, but maybe that is what makes it so special.

A couple 45 finds!

"where is Erykah Badu at?" (weezy)

Return of the Ankh! I love me some Erykah. Her unique voice and passion for making good funky soulful music is rare in today's world. She is back with part two of her New Amerykah series. I can't waait for this one to drop.

Badu has production credits on each song of her album. Some of her studio cohorts include 9th Wonder, Madlib, Questlove and Karriem Riggins for all you beatjunkeez.

New Amerykah, Part Two: Return of the Ankh track list, according to Badu's record label:
1. "20 Feet Tall"
2. "Window Seat" (featuring Ahmir "?uestove" Thompson, Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner, James Poyser and Kirsten Agnesta)
3. "Agitation"
4. "Get Money"
5. "Don't Be Long"
6. "Love"
7. "Umm Hmm"
